Just before 2am Station 7 was dispatched to Route 1 South in the area of Wendy Lane along with SKEMS Medic 3 for an MVA

Shortly after Engine 18 with Chief’s 3&7 responded, Station K upgraded the call to a vehicle fire. Engine 18 arrived on scene and reported a fully involved vehicle with the operator self extricated. The fire was extinguished and the operator was transported to South County ER with minor injures.
